[OT] -- a couple of links on amateur astronomy

Backyard astronomy is not directly related to research I'm doing, but is an enlightening experience nevertheless. I bought a Meade 4500 and am tooling it up for observations, so here are a couple of good links on a) choosing a telescope b) understanding the basics of eyepieces.
